When Sibylla opened in Tranås on 30 March 2023, a unique project came to an end. The restaurant is an environmentally certified modular building, designed by Intrx architects, and it will serve as the model for how new Sibylla restaurants are to be built.

Sibylla’s new, environmentally certified concept restaurant is situated on Dalagatan in Tranås, southern Sweden. It is a modern fast-food restaurant with both drive-in and around 50 seats, both indoors and outdoors.

The building itself is the first example of a brand new type of modular building that will eventually become the model for how new Sibylla restaurants are built. The building, designed by Intrx architects, is delivered in six prefabricated modules that are transported from the factory to the construction site and assembled on site. Together, the building modules form a restaurant space of 158 m².

Once the modules are in place, the windows and facade are installed.

As the building is not erected on a concrete slab and consists of modules, it is also possible to move the building if, for example, a better location is found, or if it is built on a temporary building permit.

The restaurant interior, which was also designed and supplied by Intrx, is in light woods with touches of yellow and turquoise accent colours, and stainless steel details.
