Barkarby retail park is Sweden’s second largest in terms of turnover. Intrx has fitted out one of the area’s largest grocery stores: Stora Coop Barkarby hypermarket. The store offers a wide range of products and services, in a modern and functional retail environment.

The new interior for Stora Coop Barkarby has been particularly focused on fruit and vegetables, and the bread section.

With our design, we have created a modern, functional store environment that highlights Coop’s wide range in an appealing way.

Using bright, stylish materials, we have created an environment that encourages customers to explore and shop. Flexible display spaces and optimized lighting ensure the products are presented in the best way, making it easier for customers to find what they’re looking for.

Barkarby retail park is growing rapidly.

According to HUI Research, it is Sweden’s second largest retail park in terms of turnover. At the old airfield in Barkarby and the Veddesta south industrial area, a brand new urban environment is taking shape. Some 14,000 new homes for 30,000 new residents of Järfälla Municipality are planned for the new Barkarbystaden district, and in the middle of this new hub for west Stockholm and the Mälaren Valley is the new Stora Coop Barkarby.
